Thyroid disorders are second most common endocrine dysfunction in child bearing age group . Symptoms of hyperthyroidism include tremors, heat intolerance, weight loss ,emotional liability , persistently increased pulse rate, decreased menstrual flow, etc.
Most common complication of hyperthyroid in pregnant patient is thyroid storm & heart failure. Hyperthyroidism or thyrotoxicosis is associated with adverse outcome like miscarriage, growth restriction, premature labor, placental abruption, preecclapsia.Fetal thyrotoxicosis may lead to premature delivery , fetal craniosynostosis, exophthalmos, heart failure , hepato-splenomegaly , goitre & poly-hydraminos.

So heart failure is one of the complications of hyperthyroidism. It's scary. I mean, we have to see a doctor to be able to distinguish the effects of hyperthyroidism.
